Q: When can I request a refund?

We understand that things do not always work out. If you want a refund for any reason then you must let us know within 15 days of the date of receipt of the product. Just follow the steps for refund.

Please, contact us before shipping anything. Do not send the product to us or the return address on the package without talking to us first to get a return authorization.

Q: What are the steps to return an item for refund?

Step 1: Notify us to get a "Return Authorization".
Simply send us an email to customerservice@leonardusa.com - put "Return Request" in the subject line
or call us 800 459-4400
We will give you a tracking number (RA#) and instructions on where and how to ship the item. 

Step 2: Once the item is recieved, it will be inspected it to ensure it is in the expected condition.

Step 3: We will send you a refund check

Q: How much will I get back for an authorized refund?

If it was our mistake then you will get back the full amount of your purchase including the original shipping plus a reasonable amount for the return shipping.

If it was not our mistake, then we will refund the amount you paid us for the item minus a 15% restocking fee.  In this case, we will not be able to refund the original shipping and the return shipping is your responsibility.  If the item was "Free Shipping", we will back out only our actual shipping cost for the original shipping amount.

Q: What are the steps to exchange an item?

Step 1: Notify us to get a "Return Authorization".  It will include a tracking number and instructions on where and how to ship the item. 

Step 2: Once the item is recieved, it will be inspected it to ensure it is in the expected condition.

Step 3: A replacement item will be shipped.

Q: What will I be charged for an authorized exchange?

If we shipped the wrong or a damaged item the first time, then we will send the replacement part at no charge to you and we will send you a check to cover the reasonable expenses associted with return shipping.

If we are replacing a misordered item, we will charge you shipping for the new item plus a 15% restocking fee. Any difference in the price of the new item will be applied to the charge.
