Exhaust tips by Gibson Performance. Think about your first car or truck and now think about the first modification you made. Chances are it was an exhaust tip. Even the manufacturers take special care in designing the exhaust outlets on their high Peformance and luxury models to separate them from the everyday, plain Jane models. But just a tip isn't enough to tell the world your ride is special. Those cheap shiny tips from the chain stores rust and corrode so quickly they detract from the look rather than add to it. Maybe your truck started out with a nice factory exhaust outlet and you've upgraded to a larger diameter pipe for added performance. Now it's time for a Gibson Tip from Leonard Truck Accessories.
This round angled cut exhaust tip is a classic and with its rolled edge it looks like an OEM style tip. Sometimes referred to as a "Slash Cut" performance vehicles over the years have incorporated this timeless design to let the world know there's something special about the vehicle and its owner. Gibson Performance Exhaust tip quality starts with the basic material ceramic coated T-304 stainless steel finished in matte black. Manufacturers like Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Ram and Toyota have all been using stainless steel as their exhaust material for years. T-304 is virtually rustproof and with the ceramic black coating you won't see pitting or rust stains on a Gibson exhaust tip. The attention to detail doesn't stop there. Ever car or truck with a nice looking exhuast tip and then behind it is a rusty U-Bolt style clamp all lopsided and bent? Gibson solves that issue with built in clamping system that's almost invisible yet keeps your tip securely in place.
With Gibson Tips you can choose polished stainless or ceramic matte black to coordinate your exhaust look with your wheels and other trim. Once you install a Gibson Performance Exhaust Tip and your taipipe won't look like it's tip made from a piece of pipe someone found at the junkyard and hacksawed by hand.
Finally, like any high end designer brand, the Gibson name is proudly but subtely engaved on each tip.
Inlet sizes are measured as inside diameters so measure the total outside diameter of your pipe and match it with the appropriate inlet size tip. You will need a straight section of tailpipe to properly install your tip so some cutting may be necessary.
The only part of your Exhaust System that gets noticed is the exhaust tip. A Gibson Performance Exhaust polished stainless tip delivers a brilliant "show look" that will not chip, flake, or rust like chrome. Our exclusive design features a built-in clampless connection for easy bolt on installation. Embossed with the Gibson logo and backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
