Assembly Instructions  Assembly Notes:  Tools necessary are Metric 17 mm, 19mm, and 24 mm wrenches or sockets.  An adjustable wrench can be used but on the 19 mm and 24 mm bolts you would need to hold the bolt with one and tighten the nut with another.

Assemble the two halves but do not tighten the bolts all the way.  Tighten the front and rear plates first then the center bar.  The folding shank bolt should be tight but not so tight that the shank is difficult to move.

A small gap between the two sides where they come together of about 1/2 inch or so is normal.  It has no effect on the tray's use or capacity it's there to make assembly easier and to allow for small production differences.  Gaps may not be uniform but that is also normal.

Both basket cargo carriers fit a 2-inch x 2-inch receiver.  Choose either 60-inch L x 24-inch W or 60-inch L x 20-inch W.  The bent shank feature on both baskets raises the carrier and provides a little more ground clearance.

These carriers come with a strong mesh platform to accept up 500 lbs. of cargo and have a durable black powder coat finish to resist rust, scratches, and UV damage. 

Remember, putting 500 lbs. of cargo on this carrier is equivalent to towing a 5,000 lb. trailer.  You should always use the lowest-rated component to judge how much weight you can carry.
