TriMax Blade-Runner 2 fits class 1 (1.25 inch), 2, 3, and 4 Hitch receivers.  Blade-Runner 4 fits Class 2,3, and 4 Hitches with a 2-inch square receiver. 

Blade-Runners support the bikes by the wheels instead of the frames for a more stable, less prone to damage, way to transport your bikes.  The tires fit into the trays and are strapped down with the included High Resistance Wheel Straps. 

Mounting to your receiver is easy and extra secure.  Instead of a plain pin and clip, the shank is threaded.  The pin is also a bolt that once tightened keeps the rack from shaking and rattling.  As extra security, the pin/bolt is secured with the included clip or can be locked by the purchase of a TIM-BRRL lock sold here.

The center support can be folded down to allow your SUV's rear hatch to open or for easier access to your car's trunk.  The carrier itself does not fold up.

*Please note: The trays securely hold tires up to 3 inches wide.  Using it for any larger width tire will result in the tire resting on top of the tray, not in the tray, and the straps that are included will not reach far enough around to secure the bike.  "Fat-Tire" 4-inch or larger require 19" straps sold individually.

Maximum weight capacity is calculated using 33 lbs. per bicycle as an estimate. You can load combinations of different weights but don't exceed the total capacity.
