DOMINATOR D3 Modular is a simple solution to an inconvenient problem.  Typical wheel to wheel nerf bars are too long and heavy to ship via Fedex or UPS.  Truck freight shipping is more expensive and typically takes longer to arrive and often an appointment is necessary to receive your item.  The Modular DOMINATOR D3 solution is to make the step bar in two pieces that are easily assembled and shipped.  A reinforced male/female connector ensures strength is not compromised and the look is sleek. 

Drop step style nerf bars give you the convenience and safety of truck side steps with having a long bar hanging down low beneath your cab. The main bar tucks neatly and tightly up to the rocker panel and only the hoops drop below each door and the truck bed side. This style is preferred by some truck owners because the mounting brackets are virtually invisible behind the main bar unlike typical nerf bars where the main bar sits 5-7 inches below the cab thus exposing the mounting brackets. Wheel to Wheel design means you can step up and reach into your truck bed from either driver or passenger side and because these drop step nerf bars are made specifically to fit your pickup truck the hoop steps are placed in the best position under each door and bed-side for safety and style. The hoops feature a wide metal step pad which accomodates both work boots and dress shoes. The metal pad will not crack like some plastic step pads on standard style non-drop step nerf bars.
