Measure the distance from ground to center point of your 2" receiver.  If that measurement is between 14" and 20" you do not need this adapter.

The TC500A is designed to work with the Tote Caddy on vehicles whose receiver hitches are either higher or lower than the workable range of Tote Caddy. (14 to 20 ). The Tote Caddy Adaptor corrects this problem in an instant.  The Tote Caddy Adaptor can be installed to provide a choice of either lowering or raising the hitch receiver by 4 .

The Tote Caddy Adaptor is constructed of aircraft aluminum and finished with super-tough powder-coat enamel.  It has a 200 Lb. weight capacity. Works in vehicles equipped with a 2 receiver.

What You Need To Know:

• This adapter is not to be used for towing
• Raised receiver may interfere with rear bumper 
• Your trash can needs to have a metal bar at the front
• Your receiver needs to be between 14"-20" off the ground
• If your receiver is too high (above 20") or too low (below 14") use this TC5000A adapter.
