Of course, neither adjustment is infinite but Thule's Xsporter PRO will accommodate most common cargo carriers.

Some trucks have beds that taper-in toward the bottom or have other obstructions may limit the downward movement of the uprights.  Commonly, it's the upright at the cab-end of the bed that's affected and may not allow the Xsporter PRO to be lowered below cab height.  Measuring and comparing the distance between the upper bed rails and the bed floor will determine if your truck will have limited upright travel.

Toyota Tacomas require adapter kits to install the Xsporter PRO.  2005-2015 Toyota Tacomas need the XK3 and the 2016+ Tacomas require the XK4 or XK4B. These adapters are sold separately here.
