The HD Mount has been designed, specifically, for heavy duty fleets or anyone who travels where less than ideal roads exist. The vehicle specific base is made of 7 gauge steel (the lower the gauge number the thicker the steel). The height adjustable stand is designed with a 2" OD tube and .218 wall thickness to mate with the 1.75" OD rod featuring 1.375 wall thickness for excellent strength. The tilt/swivel plate allows for simple adjustment of the laptop while secured in the A-MOD (Adjustable Mobile Operstions Desktop) base.
